Associate

Dejay Patel is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. Dejay’s primary focus in law school was on general litigation and business law. Dejay was also an active member of the Student Bar Association, South Asian Law Student Association, and the Business Law Society.

During his time at UGA law school, Dejay worked as a law clerk and summer associate at a law firm specializing in litigation work and business disputes. Here, he successfully worked on the litigation of general claims involving various federal and state law. He further worked on and assisted in contract dispute claims and claims in arbitration. Dejay was also a corporate counsel intern for the inhouse legal department at a utility company.

Prior to law school, Dejay obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 2019. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a minor in Public Policy and Management. His current interests include traveling, watching movies, and playing sports. Dejay is also an avid supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons.
