Dawn Busby
Associate
Dawn is a 1990 graduate of the Emory University School of Law where she was honored by her selection to serve on the International Law Review. She earned her undergraduate degree at Southern Methodist University in 1986, with a major in history and a film studies minor.Â
She is proud to have served as a staff attorney for the Honorable Judge John Scheb on the 2nd District Court of Appeal for the State of Florida. Dawn’s work with Judge Scheb exposed her to a broad range of legal matters and issues. He taught her the meaning of bringing about a JUST result, as well as practicing law with the highest standards for character, professionalism and legal scholarship. Her work at the court well prepared her to serve as a litigator. She enjoys complex legal research, writing and discovery as she sees the big picture in pursuit of her client’s interests.Â
